Elecard releases beta version of HEVC Analyzer

Elecard releases beta version of HEVC Analyzer enhanced with new features.

Elecard, a leading developer of codecs for digital video, officially announced the release of the beta version of Elecard HEVC Analyzer v0.120 based on HM 12.0, the video quality analysis tool for HEVC/H.265 format. The updated version comes with the set of new features that makes it possible to get much more information on the analyzed streams and improve decoding performance. The new implemented features include:

 

  • Decoding picture buffer control added. It visualizes the buffer status and characteristics of frames it contains: short/long term reference, output, used by current, and Ref_List0 Ref_List1 structure.
  • Quick indexing mode is added. Its functions can be used in media file opening and configured in the settings.
  • Listener mode. Its functions can be used for working with two or more HEVC Analyzers for frame positioning and coded units (CU) positioning synchronization.
