Good news!

CADtools 8.2 for the new Illustrator CC, released today, is now available!

We are pleased to provide this same day update using our responsive new CORE™ technology. Illustrator CC is part of the ever-changing Creative Cloud package with new features like image brushes, movable font characters, font searches, file placement control, and file package control, to name a few.

If you are a current CADtools 8 customer, the update is free and can be downloaded for Mac or Windows.

CADtools 8.2 contains several new features and bug fixes:
* Immediate CADtools compatibility checking on launch with additional options in CADtools Preferences
* Keyboard shortcut support for CADtools panels
* CADtracker support for individual point control
* Fraction support for custom scales
* Symbol support in Scale calculator
* Improved wall tool
* Numerous bug fixes and minor tool enhancements

If you are a previous CADtools customer and have not yet upgraded to CADtools 8, the cost is only $149 from CADtools 5, 6 or 7.

* Instant updates of attached dimensions (optional) replaces need to update links
* CADunits panel to simplify control

* Rounded Rectangle tools
* Improved isometric/axonometric drawing and new CADaxonometric panel replacing former CADisometric panel
* Improved fillet/trim/extend tools
* Integrated scaled CADrulers and CADgrids
* CADcontrol bar
* CADtools Preferences under the Window > CADtools menu defines general document settings
